This book is dedicated to the biggest ray of sunshine, Timmy.
! M O O B , M O O B , M O BO The thuds were heard loud and clear. Blonde hair and blue-eyed Timmy was awake, jumping out of bed, and hopping down the staircase. This morning, Timmy was a bunny.

He hopped over to the couch to his mother where he greeted her with the touch of his bunny nose against hers. She told him good morning and asked what he wanted for breakfast. Obviously, he asked for carrots.

After breakfast, Timmy the bunny went to change his clothes. He hopped up the stairs and closed the door. Yet when the door opened, a bunny did not appear. A figure with gray steel guards, a mask, a shield, and a sword stormed out from the bedroom.

He sprinted to the playroom where he dug through his toy box to find his horse. He was soon galloping all around the house, dodging the castles, and fighting off the evil dragons.

Timmy the knight was soon summoned to lunch. As he approached his mother, sandwiches in hand, he grabbed her hand and announced, “I’ve saved you princess!” After lunch, he scurried back into his bedroom.

I’ve saved you princess!

After several minutes, he stepped outside of his door beating his chest. He ran to the backyard where he hung from the trees and hunted for bananas.

Dinner was then ready and Timmy the monkey sat restless at the table ready to climb.

It was now time for a much needed bath. Timmy plunged into the water. He swam around splashing, looking for the deepest and greatest treasures. Just as he found the grandest prize of all, it was time for him to depart from the sea.

The little scuba diver was now in his pajamas and it was time for bed. Timmy the bunny knight monkey scuba diver was finally tucked in under the covers. As he drifted off to sleep, he dreamt of tomorrow’s new adventures.

This book was produced in the fall of 2014 at St. Norbert College, in De Pere, WI. This book is a collaboration between design and teacher education students. It is typeset in Baskerville and Kiddish and was digitally printed by the college print center. All illustrations were produced by Emily Olsen using pencil, scanned and digitally colored.
