About Emma
A long time ago, as a young girl on a six-week journey aboard an emigration ship to New Zealand, I discovered a love of drawing and making things as a way to pass the time.
After that, I was always drawing, or reading, and then travelling which led to a career in graphic design and an obsession with pattern and stationery that grew into the business that I run today.

I run my illustration business from a studio in my garden, working with some amazing small businesses. I was lucky enought to be introduced to the world of greeting cards by a fellow artist and launched my brand in 2019. It still gives me a thrill whenever I receive an order and a highlight so far has been my Henries 2020 nomination.
I’m looking forward to designing many more greeting cards, seeing my art on new products and spreading my joyful brand of colour and connection.
People and Planet
I worry a lot about making more stuff that fills the world. I’m committed to making products that I hope will be valued and kept or recycled, and minimising the impact of my business on the planet. In short:
• we only use FSC-approved board
• we print orders digitally and on demand to avoid waste
• we aim to create a sustainable and fully recyclable product
• we aim to move to nested and paper clasped cards as we sell through stock
Our cards are available nested, or with a paper clasp.
We know that unwrapped doesn’t suit everyone at the moment so we do our best to work with retailer preference.
