To celebrate Elle’s 59 th birthday last week – yes, you read that right., she’s almost reached the big 6-0 – the supermodel teamed up with Atelier Romy to create an exclusive Elle Macpherson x Atelier Romy Goddess Necklace and shared her favourite wellness bio-tweaks that have helped Elle find her inner self and revealed how everyone should #trustyourgoddessenergy!

At the end of last month, Atelier Romy hosted a preview event at the Orchid Place in the heart of London’s Westminster, during which the demi-fine jewellery brand unveiled their new Goddess necklace, inspired by supermodel and WelleCo founder Elle, who was proud to be Guest of Honour at the special event.

The stunning turquoise and gold Goddess ‘Elle’ necklace, which is available to purchase, officially launched on 29th March, marking ‘Aries Dragon’ Elle’s birthday.

Inner Strength & Beauty #trustyourgoddessenergy

This very special jewellery piece features a stunning coin, .inspired byand dedicated to, wellness icon Elle, who has a deep, personal bond with the founder of Atelier Romy, Sabine Roemer.

The 18-karat yellow-gold vermeil coin necklace features a meditating ‘Elle-inspired’ woman, sitting inside a lotus flower with her eyes closed, representing the ability to find inner stillness and connect to your higher guidance and self-power and to trust the power of feminine energy. The meaningful piece was especially crafted to pay tribute to the unique connection between women and their journey to finding and expressing their inner strength and real inner beauty.

The Lotus flower represents purity, resilience and strength as it rises through muddy waters without any stains, whilst the coin sits on an 18-inch turquoise necklace (3mm IJM Turquoise, Quality AA): a gemstone that has long been prized as a powerful talisman with healing properties.

The new design, which acts as a personal daily reminder to #trustyourgoddessenergy, was modelled by Elle during the event, where guests attending, Canadian comedienne Katherine Ryan among them, indulged in a gong bath led by Athena Ko.

Lucky guests also received a special Limited Edition Silver Caddy to house The Super Elixir™ - WelleCo’s exceptional and multi-award-winning supergreens powder, which underpinned founder Elle’s own personal wellness journey and led to the launch of WelleCo in 2014 on Elle’s 50th birthday – together with other elixirs from the WelleCo collection.

“I wanted to design a necklace as a daily reminder that symbolises and guides you to discover the strength and beauty that is natural within you,” said Sabine Roemer, founder of Atelier Romy. “To trust your own divine Goddess energy and confidently connect with your higher self, Elle - with whom I share a deep personal bondreminded and empowered me to unite with my feminine energy and find everything I need within myself.”

An industry expert for nearly 30 years, Sabine is an award-winning Master Goldsmith. Atelier Romy’s mission is to bring the beauty and artistry of high jewellery to a wider audience, without compromising on design or craftsmanship. Crafting timeless but modern pieces which will last and elevate every outfit without breaking the bank, the designer has created the ‘Elle’ Goddess coin with an option to personalise the coin with an engraving of symbols that stand for your own personal “mantra” or guide.

Elle’s Top Wellness Tips for Mind, Body and Spirit - How To Be Your Own Well-Within Goddess

To celebrate Elle’s 59 th birthdayand the release of the Elle Macpherson x Atelier Romy Goddess Necklace , WelleCo founder Elle shared her favourite wellness bio-tweaks that have helped cultivate her inner goddess.

Seek nature

“I’m usually up with the sun,” Elle reveals. “I’ll then get outside and put my feet on the earth to ground myself. I love being outside and connecting to nature. I choose activities where I am outside, close to nature as much as possible — hiking, biking, swimming or simply sitting in the fresh air and sunshine.”

“Growing up, I learnt a lot about our natural world,” she continues. “Not only did it set the scene of my childhood, but it ignited in me a lifelong devotion to natural methods. For me, the sun and the sea are medicine. But we can learn from everything nature has to offer, which is why I have endless books on the subject and surround myself with like minds who also believe in the power of nature. I like to think that WelleCo, with all our knowledge of ingredients, synergies and formulas, is like a modern showcase of nature’s perfect intelligence.”

Routines Rule!

“Each morning, I like to take two capsules of The Skin Elixir and The Hair Elixir with water while taking The Super Elixir ™ greens powder,” Elle explains . “I leave the jars next to my toothbrush to remind me – I’ve found pairing routines helps maintain continuity.”

Elle’s evening beauty routine is, of course, a wellness routine, too. “It consists of an infrared sauna followed by a cold plunge in my plunge bath. It’s great for detox, immune boost, lymph support and relaxation. I follow that with my nightly ritual of a cup of Sleep Welle Calming Tea, which helps the mind, emotions and body to rest, recover and rejuvenate. Usually, I’ll write a gratitude list just before I sleep.”

Move Out of Your Comfort Zone

Elle’s a huge advocate for pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone. “I like to go for a cold plunge after my workout followed by a macha in the sunshine before getting ready for my day. I’ve just discovered the Russian Banyas, an ancient tradition of steam sauna, which I like to alternate with a cold plunge. It’s a great way to stimulate the lymph system, detox, unwind and a fun alternative as a date to connect with friends –– check it out!”

Connect to Self

Her top tips for connecting with ourselves? “Breath, meditation and inner connection are extremely important to me. I like to keep it simple. I’ve found breath practice helps amplify the benefits of all the other daily practices I do’. And it’s free and profoundly effective! My daily meditation practice includes 25 minutes in the morning –– either guided or in silence. I aim to be in the natural flow of life as much as possible.”

Beauty Treatments – Look Within

As for facials, she says, “I believe the best facial is what you put inside your body. If I’ve got a big shoot or an event coming up and my skin needs a boost, I start juicing four times per day using my friend Dr Sara Siso’s protocol, with lots of turmeric, ginger, garlic, green leafy vegetables, cucumberand The Super Elixir™,” she explains.

“I’ll also incorporate The Collagen Elixir to support my skin’s hydration and elasticity. Zoning in on your microbiome is the way to heal from within. I know now to be extremely careful with what I put into my body, treating it from within with quality whole foods so my skin and hair can naturally look their best.”

Serious Self-care

When it comes to body treatments, ‘The Body’ has top tips aplenty. “A favourite of mine is the Cleopatra Bath for the ultimate hit of nutrients. All it takes is milk, honey, olive oil and flower petals for a smoothing royal treat. Given the skin is the body’s largest organ, this bath is a calming, express way of absorbing nutrients.”

“I also love dry body brushing and try to do this at least three times a week to stimulate circulation and lymphatic drainage, clear my system of any toxins and it also exfoliates your body for smooth, soft skin. Following this, I like to apply a body cream or oil.”

Travelling Tales

As for her travel tips, speaking on the day of the biggest ever World Travel & Tourism Council Summit (WTTC) Global Summit in Riyadh recently, the sensational supermodel and entrepreneur says ‘travelling with purpose’ is the key to unlocking new experiences.

“We travel so much for business, but travelling with purpose – where you can go to a destination and really be imbued by the culture, get to know the people, break bread with the people – is extremely important,” she explained.

WTTC’s highly anticipated Global Summit is the most influential Travel & Tourism event in the calendar and has attracted nearly 3000 delegates from over 140 countries, including Heads of State, Ministers and CEOs from across the sector. The supermodel had visited the Kingdom for four days, spending time in the Saudi Arabian capital before the eventand entrepreneur Elle says she enjoyed experiencing Saudi Arabia’s “unbelievably generous” hospitality.

She told the 22nd edition event’s delegates she had experienced and enjoyed “incredible” food at restaurants across Riyadh while aiming to “really get a feeling of what it is to be here”. “I see travel as a vehicle for spiritual and personal growth,” said the founder of WelleCo. “We have to adapt and be flexible when we’re on the roadand that’s actually a fantastic skill we need as an entrepreneur.”

Uniquities is a family business. It was created in 1992 purely from a personal need to renovate our 1912 home and being unable to find the architectural antiques we wanted. If we were frustrated with the lack of availability of architectural salvage then it seemed obvious to us that other people were feeling the frustration too.

I grew up in Wales in an area of great historical importance with Roman amphitheatres, Norman castles, Georgian mews and Victorian shopping arcades. So, of course, we began our venture there.

Since those early days, we have expanded our sourcing trips to many places throughout Europe. You are as likely to find us at an upscale antiques fair in Montpelier as you are in a farmer’s barn on the Cornish coast.

We believe passionately in saving snippets of history from landfills. We have an insatiable love for the rusty, crusty and dusty. We will climb fences, rummage in grubby barns, attend auctions in dreadful weather conditions and visit historic sites to gain a greater understanding. We obsess over the forgotten trades of times past.

We listen, learn and absorb so that we can pass that knowledge on and we are in awe of the fact that we will never stop searching and learning.

We are also 100% positive that the world would be a greener and more enlightened place if we salvaged more and preserved all architectural history. When an English Georgian stone chimneypiece, or an 18th century Italian bibliotheque is discarded, or worse still landfilled, it is gone forever. The superior craftsmanship, authentic period detail and beautiful patina of old materials simply cannot be reproduced.

We travel to many countries in search of architectural, garden and decorative antiques. Our collections are curated and hand sourced by us.

We also offer you our years of experience in sourcing specific items. We have had the pleasure of finding beautiful pieces for clients, from ancient English barns to French marble fireplaces. Contact us for more information.

We are open for Container Reveals, special events and by appointment.
