How to Manage Parental Consent, Family Setting and Multiplayer Access for your Child Account? If the user uses any of the Microsoft services like Xbox live, Office, Outlook, Skype and OneDrive etc., then they should have a Microsoft account. With your, Microsoft account you can manage all the things in one place. For Microsoft account, the user can sign up at no cost by going to office.com/myaccount.

Method to Manage your Child Account: 1. Method to Sign Up for Free Microsoft Account: 1. For this, first you should visit to xbox.com and then tap on Sign In option which is located at the top right side of the page.


2. Now in the Sign In box, you should tap on Create one! 3. Here, you should select an email account to use. If you want to create a new email account, then select Get a new email address. 4. At this point, you should follow the method to create your account. 5. Then, you have to check the notification email which you get shows the correct email address for your account. 6. At last, you should log in to Xbox.com with your email address and password. The user can view the Gamertag which is in the top right side of the screen. 2. Method to Manage Your Child’s Xbox Live or Microsoft Account: 1. For this, you should tap on office.com/myaccount. 2. After this, you should tap on Create a family group. 3. Here in the Add Someone box, you should tap on Create an account. 4. Now, you should Create an account for child box and then follow the directions to create the account. 5. In case, your child does not have a MS account, then you should create one. 6. At this point, you should use an email different from one which you use for signing into to create the family group. 7. When you created, you should edit the parental settings. 3. Method to Edit Parental Controls for Your Child’s Account: 1. First, you should visit to account.xbox.com/settings. 2. Now, you should tap on the account which you wish to edit. The user will view the child’s Gamertag in the top right side of the screen.


4. Method to Enable Join Multiplayer Games, Join Clubs or Access Realms: 1. For this, you should log in to account.xbox.com/settings with the parent’s MS account. 2. Now, you should tap on the child account’s profile. 3. Here in the navigation tabs, you should tap on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and also Windows 10 devices Online Safety. 4. At this point, you should choose Allow for the option You can create and join clubs and for the You can join multiplayer games option. If the user wants to enable chat for people which are not in the child’s friends list. In the table header, you should tap on Privacy. Now, you should choose Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites. 5. At last, you should tap on Submit option. 5. Method to Enable Adding and Removing Friends: 1. First, you should log in to account.xbox.com/settings in the parent’s Microsoft account. 2. Now, you should tap on the child account’s profile. 3. Then in the navigation tab, you should tap on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety. 4. Here, you should choose Allow for You can add friends. 5.
