How to Troubleshoot “Webroot Not Scanning on Mac”?

1. Boot Scan in Safe Mode: To fix this error, you should boot scan in safe mode. For this, you have to restart your Mac device in Safe Mode. You should first switch off your Mac and then restart it again. Then you should press and hold the Shift key, so that your Mac switches on and lights up. After this, just release the Shift key when the login window displays on your computer system. Now, your Mac device has booted in safe mode. This process will take longer time than usual to boot your system.

2. Uninstall using CMD and Reinstall Webroot: First, you should press start and R button altogether on windows and then you should type cmd in the search box and then click on Enter key. And then you have to use the command, in command prompt window and tap on Enter key.

Type C:\Program Files\Webroot\WRSA.exe” –uninstall Here you should enter the CAPTCHA code when it prompts. When the Webroot antivirus is uninstalled properly. Then, you should reboot your system. After this, you should install cleanly with the new installer which you have downloaded in your system.

3. Clean Install of WSA: For the clean install of WSA, you should note down the 20 characters long Alphanumeric Keycode which came along with the Webroot product. And just ensure that your system has a high-speed internet connection when you are downloading and installing the Webroot product. Here, you should download the copy of the WSA from the manufacturer website just to install on your system. Now, you should uninstall WSA and then reboot your PC. After this, you should install with the fresh WSA installer. Now here you have to enter your 20 character Keycode. It is advised that you should not import any settings because you can set it up later after the installation. Just wait for the process to complete and then you should restart your system.

Now you can install cleanly with the new downloaded installer file.
