Webroot Evasion Shield is the security layer against the script based attacks which include file-based, file less, or encrypted threats just to protect the businesses against advanced cyber attacks. Method to Enable Webroot Evasion Shield: To enable Webroot Evasion Shield, first you have to log in to the Webroot Management console and then you have to click on the Policies tab. After this, you have to find and click the global policy which you want to modify just to display the policy settings. The endpoints which you have chosen to apply the Evasion Shield, if they are presently using a System Policy then you have to create a copy of the policy and then you can modify it because you cannot change the System Policies. For creating a copy of the policy, you have to click on the policy which you want to copy. Then you have to tap on the Copy button. Now you have to enter a Policy Name and Policy Description. After this, you have to click on Copy option. This method will help you in creating a copy of the policy.


After this, you have to click on the Policy Section drop-down menu and then just select Evasion Shield which is at the bottom of the list. Now you have to select the option for the Script Protection setting. The options are Off, Detect and Report and Detect and Remediate. After selecting the option, you have to click on Save button just to modify the policy and also to save the new setting. If you are modifying the policy then you have to move to next step. After this, you have to select the Endpoint Protection sub-tab and then just check the box which is next to the Include Global Policies setting. Now you have to click on Save Change.
