Lis became an author in her own right in 2014 when she wrote and published 'Headshot Diva', and she has since had work published in other anthologies. She is particularly proud of her first attempt at fiction, when a short story she had written was successfully included, alongside other competition winners, in a short story anthology. In 2017 Lis published her own book of short stories, "Changing Lives: 8 short stories". Her latest books are, "Mixed Feelings", an autobiography, and her poetry: books: "A Tilted View", "Lis' Little Book of Limericks", "Blossom Falls" and "A Multitude of Stars." Her first novel is to be published in spring next year. Alongside her writing, she mentors others' to write their books.
