azuLine Bergantin Hotel, San Antonio Bay, Ibiza
IBIZA San Antonio Bay has a great accessible beach, with an aqua wheelchair available. The promenade is wide, long and has a great variety of restaurants and bars to watch the stunning sunset over the bay.
MENORCA There’s a great choice of accessible days out on the beautiful island of Menorca. From a trip to Fornells, where you can view the whole island and its neighbours on a clear day, to sampling the locally produced Xoriguer gin in Mahon.
COSTA BLANCA The many areas of Benidorm have flat walkways and accessible shops, bars and restaurants. The beach has disabled access to the sea, amphibious wheelchairs and a disabled changing room, all supported by lifeguards.
COSTA ALMERIA Stunning Roquetas de Mar has excellent accessible hotels and a long, flat beachfront promenade, where you’ll find lots of places to eat and drink, plus an accessible beach with amphibious wheelchair.

COSTA DEL SOL The main resorts of Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Benalmadena offer good standards of accessibility. In Torremolinos, the front of the resort is flat, and the wide promenade has ample shops, bars and restaurants – as well as an accessible section of beach. A little further down the coast is Fuengirola. Probably the most accessible area in Spain, it is flat and has accessible public transport throughout the resort. Benalmadena also makes it easier for disabled visitors to enjoy the sea, with ramps that allow access for amphibious wheelchairs to access the water.

Kerkyra, capital of Corfu island
COSTA DORADA
TENERIFE
Resorts, like the ever-popular Salou, are flat and near the accessible Llevant Beach. With its level platforms down to the water’s edge, it’s ideal for wheelchair-users.
Accessibility on the south of the island is some of the best you will find anywhere in Europe. The resorts of Playa de las Americas, Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje are especially suitable for wheelchair-users.
COSTA BRAVA
The heart of Playa de las Americas is pedestrianised and very close to the accessible beach of Las Vistas. The beach features an accessible sunbathing area, plus the Red Cross offer a mobility aqua chair and assisted bathing services. Drop kerbs are commonplace in all these popular resorts, and Tenerife offers a barrier-free tram system, low floor buses, wheelchair-accessible taxis and adapted car hire.
A firm favourite with Enable customers for years, Costa Brava is made up of five resorts, Santa Susanna, Pineda del Mar, Malgrat de Mar, Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar. The resorts offer miles of promenade and plenty of drop kerbs. A wheelchair-accessible train service runs along the seafront from Costa Brava to Barcelona.

FUERTEVENTURA The island of Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands, and its accessibility has proven popular with many Enable holidaymakers. GRAN CANARIA The resorts of Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas, Meloneras and Puerto Morgan have a wide selection of accessible hotels and facilities. These include accessible promenades and wheelchair-accessible public transport. Maspalomas has fully accessible beach access, with disabled toilets and changing rooms.
LANZAROTE This ever-popular island has many accessible resorts to choose from. At Matagorda and Puerto del Carmen, you’ll find long flat promenades and lots of accessible shops and restaurants. There are also good accessible beaches with walkways, aqua wheelchairs and gentle access into the warm sea.

Camara de Lobos, Madeira
THE GREEK ISLANDS Corfu has many accessible features, such as level pedestrian-only areas and easy-access buses. In Ipsos, they’ve added many drop kerbs and crossing points to their “golden mile” promenade, as well as beach access with aqua chair and a ramp access into the sea.
One of our favourite places in Portugal is Vilamoura. This flat resort offers fine dining and exquisite bars. The marina area not only provides an extremely attractive backdrop, it’s also one of the most accessible holiday areas in the entire country. Here, you’ll find a large choice of wheelchair ramps, accessible beaches with walkways, amphibious chairs and adapted toilets. You’ll also find beautiful accessible beaches in Quarteira, Alvor, Lagos and Albufeira.
Lalyssos in Rhodes has an accessible beach area, with wooden walkways that criss-cross the sand. And Rhodes Town has a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants along bustling streets with drop kerbs and a flat coastal path.
MADEIRA
CYPRUS
Despite its mountainous terrain, Madeira is surprisingly wheelchair-friendly.
Sun-soaked Cyprus is a much-loved holiday destination that’s welcomed those with mobility impairments for many years. And we have a great choice of audited and fully adapted hotel rooms and apartments here.
Many of the new buildings have been designed with accessibility in mind. The island’s cable car has also been fitted with wheelchair access and Funchal marina has a ramp to allow access to the restaurants and bars.
