Arteriors Presents Third Collection with Designer Barry Dixon at High Point Market (Dallas, TX) Fall 2014 – Arteriors, a leading provider of lighting, furniture and accessories to residential and commercial customers, will introduce its third collection with guest designer Barry Dixon at the Fall 2014 High Point Market (October 18-23). This collection is a fusion of Dixon’s personally curated collection of antiques and found objects, nature-inspired pieces with organic and sculptural elements as well as permutations of best-selling pieces from previous collections with Arteriors. The 21 piece assortment of furniture, mirrors and accessories features an eclectic mixture of metal finishes and mediums including burnished and polished brass and mixed gold tones. Inspiration was found in the world of flora and fauna as seen in the Boiserie Bench, Grotto side table and the Willow chair. Other pieces such as the Copernicus Armillary are influenced by one of a kind objects found in Dixon’s global travels. “Barry’s originality and unique aesthetic adds a refreshing yet elegant perspective to the Arteriors brand each season,” stated Arteriors Founder and Creative Director Mark Moussa. “In many ways, this collection is an evolution from our first endeavor. We’re delighted our partnership with Barry has continued to change and mature.” Dixon adds, “These new pieces, with their couture abstractions and unique concepts, will be by far my favorite yet. Evolution inspires revolution and the heart and soul of this new collection lies in the transformations of my first two collections – it’s wonderful!” Arteriors will debut the collection in its showroom at the International Home Furnishings Center #H320 during High Point Market. The Barry Dixon Collection will also be available to order on arteriorshome.com beginning October th 17 . About Barry Dixon Believing “the greatest quality a home might possess is that of innate, soulful hospitality,” Barry Dixon has become one of the nation’s most sought-after designers. A graduate of The University of Mississippi, Dixon spent most of his childhood abroad. His father's work as a metallurgist for an international company based in Germany provided opportunities for the family to live in exotic cities across the world. Elements of those experiences are reflected throughout Dixon's work. Living in India, Pakistan, Korea, New Caledonia and South Africa, Dixon gained a global perspective and laid the foundation for his future. “Barry Dixon Interiors,” his first book published in September 2008, is now in its third printing. His latest book “Barry Dixon Inspirations” is available now in bookstores and online at Amazon. For more information, please visit www.barrydixon.com.
