SHOWCASING DUBLIN’S HERITAGE DuBLiN CiViC TRuST is pleased to host its fifth annual DuBLiN GARDEN SQuARES DAy. Celebrating the architecture and landscape of the city’s squares, the event showcases this unique heritage asset as first laid out with St. Stephen’s Green in the 1660s, culminating in the glory of Mountjoy and Fitzwilliam Squares of the late Georgian period. Walk or cycle between the squares and discover the history of these unique gardens, their plants and wildlife, the people who once used them and the historic buildings that embrace them. All events are free of charge.
