iPalpiti Festival July 14-17
The LA Times has called the multi-week music festival, “the highlight of the summer.” Twenty-four award-winning young artists from 18 countries, including Ecuador, Turkey, Italy, Japan, Azerbaijan, Serbia, Belgium, France, Armenia and Poland, will perform under the direction of Maestro Schmieder. The acclaimed ensemble of international musical soloists is often referred to as the “United Nations of Classical Music.” Mark Swed of the LA Times has said, “A world-class performance by young players with technique to burn.” The iPalpiti soloists, along with members of the iPalpiti Orchestra, will present three diff erent concerts at the Encinitas Library on July 14, 15, and 16 with the full orchestra scheduled to return for a performance at the Conrad in La Jolla on July 17. The 50-minute concerts at the Encinitas Library feature outstanding musicians from throughout Southern California performing all styles of music.
