Dear Patrons of the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre,

Happy Spring! Everyone tells me, being a recent transplant from Pennsylvania, that Georgia just explodes with spring so I am looking forward to experiencing that beauty, just as we know you’ll enjoy the explosion of shows we have coming up this spring season. As always, we have something for everyone so we hope you will come back and see us for many more great events.

March begins with The Atlanta Opera’s production of Porgy and Bess. Atlanta Ballet returns with Giselle and our comedy lineup includes George Lopez, Jay Leno, Terry Fator, Franco Escamilla, Bill Burr & Bert Kreischer. Concerts run the spectrum from country to pop to R&B to classical to family entertainment. Please see the table of contents on page 1 for a complete list.

Our ArtsBridge Foundation will host the 2020 Overture Gala on Saturday, March 21 in the Kessel D. Stelling Ballroom to raise funds to continue their mission of bringing arts education to Georgia’s students. In April, ArtsBridge will also present the 2020 Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards – The Shuler Awards, celebrating excellence in high school musical theater. Seventy five high schools from across the state participated in the program and the top schools will perform here on April 16. The event will be televised live on GPB.
