OVERTURE GALA ARTSBRIDGE FOUNDATION

It’s a family affair! Samit & Mita Roy and Sid & Elisa Roy of Scicom Infrastructure Services will chair this annual event, held to raise financial aid subsidy for arts education programming for K-12 Georgia students.

The exceptional evening begins in the Kessel D. Stelling, Jr. Ballroom with a cocktail hour featuring alumni students of the Whitehall Academy Jazz Band, a delectable gourmet meal prepared by newly appointed Executive Chef Nick Panter, a performance by 2022 Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards – Shuler Hensley Awards® student nominees of Greater Atlanta Christian School, and a Bid-to-Give/Live Auction portion.

The Bid-to-Give/Live Auction portion features opportunities to bid on stellar, high-end packages, such as a Boca Raton Cloister hotel and golf

package, an Atlanta Braves NAPA suite box and catering, two round-trip first-class tickets from Delta Airlines, an Atlanta United box and catering, and more. Funds raised through the Gala’s Bid-to-Give Auction support the Foundation’s Financial Aid Subsidy Program, which provides access to ArtsBridge arts education programs for Title I schools and students across the state and supports the Foundation’s vision that everyone has access to arts experiences. Following the auction, guests will enjoy the complete live performance of ABBA The Concert: A Tribute to ABBA in the John A. William’s Theatre.

The Event Chair is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of information technology, operations, and business management. His career began with the City of Atlanta under the tutelage of Mayor Maynard H. Jackson and he rose through the ranks to become the City’s Chief Information Officer. From there, he held several positions at Unisys and Apple Computers, Far East before founding Scicom Infrastructure Services, where his son Sid serves as the company’s EVP of Operations & Client Support.

Valerie Jackson, Former First Lady of Atlanta and Member, Atlanta Restaurant Partners, LLC will serve as the event’s Honorary Chair, and 33+ award-winning media personality, Monica Pearson, will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies.
