I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support as GPB and each of you have faced the challenges presented this year by the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Although GPB has adjusted our face-to-face business operations by staging virtual events and modifying live productions to best ensure the wellbeing of our employees and participants, we are still here for you.

GPB’s mission is to be a trusted and reliable source of content, and in these uncertain times, we are continually evaluating the best ways to serve and be of value to our statewide community.

It is our goal to not only keep you informed about the world around you through our programs and resources, but also to strengthen our donor communication with you. We want you to be aware of the many ways you can take advantage of GPB’s offerings and see the impact of your loyal support. It is with this purpose in mind, that I am proud to offer you the first edition of our new monthly program guide, produced in partnership with the publisher of Encore, the voice of the arts in Atlanta. I hope you’ll enjoy the television program listings, along with enhanced content for GPB Radio and PBS Kids. We are also excited to keep you updated on our education initiatives and community engagement opportunities.

This month’s cover story focuses on the new two-part documentary The Vote from American Experience. As you’ll read, it’s a story of struggles and triumphs, and closely examines societal issues influencing the passage and implementation of the 19th Amendment. I hope you’ll tune in for this program and more, as we seek to inform, entertain and enlighten you with PBS, NPR and GPB Original programs and news that examine important questions and create insightful discussions.
