August Newsletter Summer is in full swing and the sun UV exposure is still a large concern. Please make sure your child is fully sun screened before they are dropped off in the morning. Please check to make sure your child’s sunscreen is tree nut oil free and has not expired. Expired sun screen can leave your child’s skin vulnerable to the UV rays and can lead to sun burns. We would like to say a final goodbye to teacher Jaclyn as she finishes up her last two weeks at the centre. Jaclyn’s last day will be August 14th. She will be missed by her students and coworkers. Upon Jaclyn’s departure, Shelley will assume Jaclyn’s role as IT supervisor. Feel free to ask her questions and bring up concerns about her program. Just a reminder that on August 25th we will be closing at 4 pm for professional development. Late fees will be in effect. Please review your late pick up policy to stay informed about late charges. The lost and found is starting to get full once again. Please take a look through to see if anything may belong to your child. Leftover items will be donated at the end of the month. Although laces up shoes are fashionable and cute, they are very inconvenient for children who cannot yet do them up by themselves. We ask that you refrain from providing lace up style footwear for daycare (Inside and outside).
