Exploring Subliminal Meditation

While most people are familiar with the general idea of meditation, subliminal meditations may be newer to some. You may have heard of songs and different types of advertisements containing subliminal messages. These are auditory or visual messages and stimuli that are not perceived by the conscious mind, bypassing it and going directly to the subconscious mind for processing. With continued repetition, this can have quite a strong effect on us, what we think, believe, say, how we act, and even what we consume and like.
The same idea applies to subliminal meditations, except these are geared in a different direction, with specific goals in mind. These typically consist of music, usually of a specific healing hertz, making the music the only thing the conscious mind can hear. Essentially, the messages that are being spoken are there, but not audible to us consciously, so it may feel like nothing is really happening.
Much like the subliminal messages, continued repetition of subliminal meditation can have very powerful effects when it comes to changing some of the embedded beliefs and thought patterns we have acquired throughout our lives, that we may not find to be so favourable to us. There are many subliminal meditations available on several different topics, such as abundance and prosperity, self love and relationships, overcoming trauma and addictions, happiness, peace, and eliminating or diminishing anxiety and depression.
These meditations can be listened to at any time, but the most effective has been known to be while sleeping. This is because it is during sleep that we are in the state of least resistance and most open to receiving.
Developmental Biologist, Dr. Bruce Lipton, speaks highly of the profound effects of consistently listening to repetitive messages specifically while you sleep, to reprogram the subconscious mind. He explains in much detail how the subconscious mind works and the difference between the conscious and subconscious mind.
