Something old, something new? You’ll find both at Boonville’s newest event space, Funxion Events. More than just a unique name, Funxion is truly a one-of-akind venue mixing raw industrial details with modern amenities.

Built in 1935 and located just steps from the historic Boonville Square, the property at 112 E. Main St. has undergone extensive transformation to become a celebration destination. Once a vacant and rundown shop full of drop ceiling, wood paneling, carpet, and broken windows, the building’s year-long renovation now showcases original features such as exposed brick and concrete block, metal and wood beams, a sliding barn door, restored terrazzo floors, and 20-foot ceiling rafters.

Featuring a neutral color palette of black ceilings and white walls mixed with handcrafted wood and metal elements, Funxion Events is a blank canvas with tons of character. Exposed ductwork looms above both event spaces, while a crystal chandelier offers a bit of glamour and fun in the main event area.

Although the building boasts more than 8,000 feet of space and has a capacity of 375, Funxion Events can host weddings, galas, and other large events. Its unique two-in-one layout allows the building to be divided for smaller events such as birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, reunions, and holiday parties.

Why choose Funxion Events? Because it’s your day, your way. The venue not only boasts 16-hour full-day rentals, but also has an open vendor policy. Have your heart set on a certain caterer? Want to have a special drink made for your event? You're welcome to hire your professional of choice as long as they are licensed and insured. Plus, the extras aren’t extra. Each rental includes up to 20 handmade farmhouse tables (all on casters, so you can easily move tables for whatever floor plan desired), seating for up to 200, private dressing rooms, sound system, audiovisual equipment, and a prep kitchen.
