ENGAGED! RIVER VALLEY REAL WEDDING

ASHLYN & JACOB

Jacob and Ashlyn first met in junior high when Jacob claims Ashlyn said to him. “Hi, Best Friend” giving him a high-five as she walked by. They began dating in 2012 and continued their relationship while Jacob joined the Marines and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2017. Apart for a year, Ashlyn and Jacob would write to each other often, counting down the days when he would return home. Jacob popped the question at Mystique Winery surrounded by both their families. Both are “old souls” and incorporated vintage elements into their décor while also displaying several family heirlooms. One of the most special parts of their wedding was being able to having the men Jacob deployed with be a part of their ceremony and officially welcome Ashlyn into the corps.
