Lush Movement Company

Lush Movement Company, located on First Avenue in Evansville, Indiana, is the Tri-State’s premier pole fitness and dance studio. Opened in October 2021, the 1,600 sq foot studio is a site to behold, featuring an engineered dance floor, ten foot wrap around mirrors, eight 12 foot poles, chrome and brass, silks, and a lyra. “We really wanted to create an incredible space where people can feel comfortable and confident in themselves, while they move their body” says co-owner and operator Kerby Newcomb. Founded with the mission of using movement as a gateway to improved physical, mental, and spiritual health, the team and instructors at Lush combine fitness with creativity in a way unique to the Tri-State area.

The curriculum at Lush includes classes such as Intro to Pole, Exotic Skills, Flexibility and Mobility, and even a one of a kind Tik Tok Takeover class, where students learn the latest and trendiest Tik Tok dances. “We get a lot of questions about who can pole or what experience you need to dance, but we truly spend a lot of time on our

curriculum and with our instructors to make sure we have options for everybody” says Kerby. And the results speak for themselves. With students ranging from professional body builders to working moms to even a recent recipient of a bone marrow transplant, they all share one thing in common: improved health, wellness, and confidence at the end of each class. At Lush, students also find themselves part of a community of motivated and supportive women from a variety of backgrounds and at different stages of their fitness journey.
