Bringing over 20 years of full time real estate experience, Mark has helped more than 2,000 families buy or sell their homes across the United States. He was a top selling agent in Syracuse, New York, for a number of years before selling his company and relocating to Hilton Head Island in 1997.

Tanner is a graduate of the Hilton Head Real Estate School. He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the South Carolina Association of REALTORS®, the Hilton Head Association of REALTORS®, and the Hilton Head Multiple Listing Services. Tanner grew up in Radford, Virginia, and moved to the Hilton Head area in 2012. Tanner enjoys life in the Lowcountry and helping others discover how special the Hilton Head area is. When not helping clients, Tanner enjoys various outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, kayaking on the May River, and traveling to nearby cities, such as Charleston and Savannah.

A father of three beautiful children, Caroline, Madeline, and Elliot, there is nothing Mark loves more than spending time with his family and friends. A lover of the outdoors, Mark enjoys activities including biking, walking the beach, and overall Island living. In addition, he is an active member of Conviction Crossfit Hilton Head Island. In his spare time, he is passionate about undertaking projects related to building and remodeling.

Tanner is known for his quick responses to people searching for real estate and his tenacity in finding the right property. He feels that listening to what his clients want, and then finding it, has been key to his success. He works tirelessly for his clients and his commitment to customer service is second to none.

Chris Batson Chris Batson is a licensed real estate agent, a buyer and listing specialist and the closings and office manager for the Mayer Sutphin Group. He was born and raised near Atlanta, Georgia, and moved to Hilton Head Island in 2014. Chris worked at a law firm on Hilton Head for 2 years, as a real estate assistant, which involved corresponding with clients, coordinating closings and completing post-closing follow-up for the firm. In 2016, Chris decided to make a change and began to work with Engel & Völkers. In his spare time Chris enjoys going boating, spending time with his family, going to the beach, golfing and fishing. Chris is a member of the Freedom Boat Club on Hilton Head Island.

Anne Lawless

Anne is a licensed real estate agent, is responsible for managing the marketing efforts, is the point of contact with sellers throughout the listing process and communicates and updates clients with market intel and potential buyer interest for the Mayer Sutphin Group. Anne has visited the area since she was in elementary school and has been a full-time resident for 30 years. She has over 25 years of experience in real estate and worked for one of the largest commercial development/construction firms in Atlanta.

Mitch Burns Mitch is a licensed real estate agent, a listing and buyer specialist and an inside sales agent for the Mayer Sutphin Group. Mitch is always willing to help his clients fulfill their needs in the buying and selling process. Connecting with others and building relationships are a couple of his strong suits. Mitch was born and raised near Atlanta, Georgia. From there, he decided to move to Bluffton, South Carolina, in 2012. When Mitch isn’t connecting with clients, he enjoys boating with his friends, golfing on Hilton Head Island’s prestigious golf courses and watching sports.
