Steel Radiance
The Eicher Arts Center will kick off its 2022 entertainment programs for the public with a concert by Steel Radiance, an all-female classic rock and blues cover band, on Friday, Feb. 11. The band will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Eicher Arts Center, located at 409 Cocalico St. in Ephrata Borough’s Grater Park. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Steel Radiance consists of Gabbie Bonet, Deb Olsen, Terri Brown and Lisa Rettew. Together, they have been playing at Lancaster County locations for six years. Bonet, lead guitarist and vocalist, has performed for audiences from South Carolina to Nashville and has shared the stage with well-known musicians such as Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and Carlos Santana. There will be a cover charge. Refreshments will be available from Brewster’s Bar-B-Que and TMD’s Traveling Bar. The Eicher Center urges audience members to wear masks.
Salem Church Sets Bible Game Day
Salem Bible Church, 590 Voganville Road, New Holland, will sponsor Game Day on Saturday, Feb. 12. The event will run from 2 to 9 p.m. and will feature board games and pingpong. Dinner will be provided.

Our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) School, 330 Church Ave., Ephrata, is enrolling students for the 2022-23 school year, with a special “Twos-Day” enrollment offer for families interested in transferring their children to OMPH. Parents enrolling their students into grades one through seven between Wednesday, Feb. 2, and Tuesday, Feb. 22, will receive a set amount per student in lunch account credit, and the registration fee will be waived.

Life Care Webinar Planned
Landis Communities and Friends Life Care have collaborated to offer flexible and comprehensive long-term care plans, including expert care coordination and financial benefit, for individuals ages 40 to 85 living in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. A live webinar will be offered on Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 10 to 11 a.m.
Topics will include options that allow someone to stay at home as long as possible; the difference between long-term care insurance and membership in a Friends Life Care plan; and how Medicare, Medicaid, and one’s current health care insurance relate to their long-term care needs. Online prerecorded webinars are also available.
