The Lancaster County Cruisers’ annual car show welcomes cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
BY COURTNEY MENGEL
Lancaster County Cruisers will host its 21st annual car show on Saturday, July 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This rain-or-shine event will take place at the Willow Street Fire Company, 2901 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street.
There are no rules regarding age, make, or model.
“Bring anything,” said club vice president Jack Parke, adding that vehicles do not need to be operational.
There is a cost to exhibit a vehicle, with a discount for those who register before the event. Spectators will be admitted free of charge, but they are asked to bring nonperishable food items for the Solanco Neighborhood Ministries food bank. A portion of the proceeds from entrance fees will also go to Solanco Neighborhood Ministries.
Dash plaques will be given to the first 150 entries. All the door and cash prizes are reserved for nonmembers. “We have loads of trophies, cash prizes, and tons of door prizes,” Parke remarked.
There will be a DJ, and food vendors will sell burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, fruit cups, and beverages.
The Lancaster County Cruisers club has been around since 1994 and welcomes new members. For more information about the club or the car show, readers may call Parke at 717786-3923 or Ed Caskey at 717808-8606.
