Reed Receives All-Region Nod

Zachary Reed of Manheim was one of five track and field athletes at Lebanon Valley College (LVC), Annville, named All-Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2022 outdoor track and field season.

Reed had the third-fastest time in the 110 hurdles at 15.12 seconds to earn AllRegion honors. He ran his time in the final at the Paul Kaiser Classic at Shippensburg to finish third overall at the meet. The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, as did each member of the region’s top three relay teams.

Additionally, Reed was one of eight LVC students to be named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Winter and Spring Academic All-MAC teams. His other postseason accolades include All-MAC First Team in two events and All-MAC Third Team in one event.

Reed is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in global studies and international business and political science at LVC. He is a graduate of Manheim Central High School.
