Art show to benefit efforts in Ukraine
An art show and giveaway drawing will be held from Wednesday, April 5, to Friday, June 30, at the YR Club, 1029 Thrush Road, Wyomissing. Proceeds will go to the humanitarian and medical efforts of United24, created by the president of Ukraine. A donation box will be available at the event for those who wish to give additional support.
An artist reception will be held on Tuesday, April 11, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Attendees may enjoy appetizers and wine while experiencing the art of Audrey Bordonaro, Linda Elliott, Charlene Jobe, Trudy Moore, Amy Schade, and Donna Unger. In addition to the artwork on display, each artist will donate smaller pieces for the giveaway drawing. There is a fee for six tickets. Dinner will be available, and reservations are required by calling 610-376-1303.

Easter egg hunts
In addition to the egg hunts, open to children up to age 12, both locations will feature games, crafts, photo opportunities, face painting and free refreshments, as well as an opportunity to win prizes. The Elverson location will also include a balloon artist.

The annual Easter egg hunt at Terre Hill Park, 210 Lancaster Ave., Terre Hill, will take place on Saturday, April 8. Children age 10 and younger may participate. The event will be held rain or shine.
Children may visit with the Easter Bunny from noon to 2 p.m., and face painting by Joyful Canvas will be available from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Magic by Mr. Sneakers will begin at 2 p.m.

The New Holland Lions Club will hold an Easter egg hunt for children age 11 and under in the New Holland Community Memorial Park, located in the 400 block of Jackson Street, New Holland, on Saturday, April 8, beginning at 10 a.m. The hunt, which will take place rain or shine, will be held on the south side of Jackson Street in front of the swimming pool.
