Camp Cherokee Hike

Join us for our inagural group hike along the trails of Camp Cherokee. We’ll travel about 1.5 miles hugging the shores of Lake Allatoona. Bring a good camera— the views are spectacular! Pine Log Hike

You know it’s been on your To-Do-List for a long time. It’s time to make it happen! Pine Log Creek Trail is one of Georgia’s most beautiful hiking trails and it’s right here in your backyard. The trail is moderate in some areas and extreme in others. Together we will hike all 4.7 miles of the trail in a 3–4-hour span. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and weather appropriate clothing. Night Hike

Join us as we hike through the paths of Pine Log Creek Trail at dusk into the shadows of nightfall. We’ll travel a couple of miles adding an extra layer of excitement to the journey. DISC GOLF

Disc Golf for Beginners

Disc golf was invented in the early 1900s and has recently become the fourth fastest growing sport in the world. This is your chance to learn the basic rules, skills, and concept of the game. KAYAKING

Kayak Down the River

Enjoy a group float down the Etowah River from Kardin Bridge to Neels Landing. If you have your own kayak it will be $10. If you don’t bring a kayak, there will be some available to rent.

If you’ve never picked up a bow and arrow before but are curious about the hype, now is your chance! This single day event will introduce participants to the very basics of the sport of archery. For those youngsters looking to become an archer, this 6-week course on archery is structured with you in mind. This course will teach proper shooting techniques and important safety measures while shooting a bow. Outdoor Camp at Camp Cherokee

Get ready for some outdoor fun and excitement! This camp will have you hiking, fishing, shooting archery, and all kinds of adventurous activities. Daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included.

Free outdoor movies are a favorite way to chill on the weekends in Bartow County. Pack up some snacks, comfy lawn chairs, and a big ol’ blanket before heading to the park for a memorable evening of movie magic.

Fishing Camp

If angling is in your soul, don’t miss fishing camp! This co-ed group of youngsters will learn basic fishing techniques, how to tie a hook, baiting hooks, casting, and more. Kids will learn about different types of fish and the best time of day and year to fish for specific species.
