The charming City of Ball Ground was chartered in 1883 and is the second oldest city in Cherokee County. Today the city sits on the northern edge of the Atlanta metropolitan area. Ball Ground, Cherokee’s first Tree City USA, has gained attraction as a prosperous spot to live and open a business.
