To replace the battery, use a screwdriver to gently loosen the screw (which has been designed to always stay attached to the battery door). Gently pull the clasp of the battery door towards you and lift up. Once removed, install the battery (+ side up). Replace the battery door and tighten the screw until secure.

IMPORTANT: The captive screw cannot be removed; the design ensures it remains fixed to the cover to meet Australian and New Zealand Government guidelines.
