Clinic cum Residence ( Naturopathy center )
Residence design Exploration on individual spaces ,Understanding the relationship between Spaces in residence .And proposing a Residence cum Naturopathy center was the studio topic by my second semester.
Site : near Thondamuthur , coimbatore

Business building - 3 star hotel
3 Star Hotel , Neelambur Analyzing the opportunities of people circulation in a single complex was the challenge given in this semester. The given site was located in Neelambur highway , which was too near from Coimbatore international Airport . It helps foreigners / Travelers to easily access this hotel. My hotel design was totally rigid and Symmetrical by plan Provided enough spaces to accommodate enough people at once .

IT Park design
Tech valley, Saravanampatti Tech valley was a campus of 7 IT hub get together in SEZ zone of Saravanampatti , Coimbatore .There are 5 Hubs right to roads and 2 left to roads . This buildings was designed based on elements of design like Reputation , harmony , symmetry , hierarchy , contrast and bold .2m Diameter of 4 columns carries main part of the building where the place of Officials designed for . OAT , lobby and Parking were visible from the Bridge .

IT Park design
Stacked Balconies Balconies and projections are in repeated grids For mutual shading. Even balconies are having Creepers in wall and projections are with glass Walls with heated insulation. Thus the building Needs less energy to run, cuz of less heat Generation.
OTS & Amphitheatre Ots provided in ground & first floor to archive lighting . Roof of the gallery & convenience store act as a amphitheater in building . Also having a massive green wall which is starting from 2nd floor to 8th floor . The green wall helps to defuse the sunlight .

Vertical service core Service core placed beside the court yard of the building . This vertical core consists 4 lifts with a 3 m wide lobby , 2 m wide staircase , pantry , ahu room , electrical room , men and women restrooms , with sanitary ducts and electrical ducts. Emergency staircase or fire staircase placed in mid corner of the building .
Mutual shading Mutual shading is used to reduce heat gain in building , walls & balconies act as shading device . These balconies are accessed by offices , multipurpose halls , and corridors .These walls are coated with damp proof materials to not allowing water through wall .

Tribes of Nilgiris hills and western ghats : The nilgiris hills is a region of mountains forests and tea plantation located in southern india where the states of tamilnadu .The highlands rolling with patches of temperate forests known as “shoala” .The nilgiri hills is home to some unusual tribal groups including the Toda, kota, Baduga, Irula and kurumba

Projecting a restaurant into a tribal theme based restaurant makes tourist to explore various culture in single complex.

Design ideas :
Materials used : local available materials ex: wood,straw,stone. Reused the shipping containers into restaurants.
Therefore we designed our restaurant in the similar way where the tribal settlements are placed in topographic. Our main aim to bring out the culture and traditional of the tribal ,we have design in such a way to experience ambience of the culture .
