The IDEX Fellowship in Social Enterprise is a unique early entry program for recent University graduates interested in the field of social entrepreneurship. Managed by Oglethorpe University, and sponsored by Gray Matters Capital, fellows generate ideas under the mentorship of a social enterprise leader serving low income communities and develop a blue print for change; the Fellows then execute on that practical plan within the enter prises. The combination of ideas and execution is transformational, for the enterprise and for the fellow; and through these two words the name IDEX is born.

This year serves as the pilot year for IDEX, wherein 11 bright young individuals have been selected to help provide solutions to enable growth within the Affordable Private School sector. The Fellows are paired with an APS in Hyderabad, India and work closely with the school leaders, teachers, parents, students and education service providers to develop and implement plans for greater and more sustainable impact.
