TIMENET HEADQUARTER

The inspiring idea for the design concept of the new Timenet headquarters in Empoli is to strongly link the relationship between workplace and nature.

A part of the volume was extracted from a simple but closed form to receive the light within the building in witness of the green in an attempt to re-propose the model of the Mediterranean internal courtyard, on which the production areas overlook to offer a transparent place dedicated to calm and reflection.

The facades are made permeable to the outside through large openings, shielded by a micro-perforated sheet coating system. The high energy performance of the building is the result of a combination of quality construction materials, architectural and plant design choices.
