Make your final event a celebration. It’s a time for participants to feel good about the progress they have made. This can help them think of themselves as champions for the environment. Shared stories will inspire and perhaps provide pointers for your participants to take further action. Before running the workshop, update the draft resource booklet. If possible add details of local businesses and organisations or delete the text shown in red to create a booklet with state‐wide resources. You will also need to prepare certificates, using the template but adding your organisation’s logo and the names of participants. Print on 100% recycled paper where possible.

Materials Needed • White board and markers • Camera and media consent forms (if you would like to take pictures of the workshop) • Tea/herbal tea/coffee/milk/sugar/biscuits and a cake or other food to make it fun • Raffle tickets, tub and prizes (if holding a raffle) • Oral evaluation questions • Spare copies of Energy, Water and Smart Shopping Booklets, in case anyone missed any of the previous workshops. Specific Items – allocate 1 per person • Pens • Resource booklet (if not distributed at a previous workshop) • Final evaluation forms • Certificates printed with participants’ names, plus a few blank ones and a marker in case anyone was missed • Anything you plan to give away.
