Women have been an influential part of car culture throughout history and the excitement and passion for automobiles should continue to be celebrated. Every woman needs to be supported in her automotive passions. We’re driving cultural change for women in the automotive industry and car collector community through advocacy, mentorship and opportunities. Young girls need to see themselves in the stories and images and have mentors and heroines in the automotive world. We are welcoming young women into the circles of camaraderie in car clubs, concours and car communities.
AAT’s Women Driving Change initiative is a crucial effort in the mission of America’s Automotive Trust to preserve and evolve car culture in America. Here’s to all the great women leaders, department heads, donors, board members, educators and members of AAT. We recognize and celebrate you on this International Women’s Day, March 8th. You make us great.
