Real time monitoring: Real time power system state estimation. ICTs dedicated layer. Smart Buildings Control: Demand side management, using intelligent plugs (eSmart) to create a cluster of controllable loads (power distribution). Smart Sensors Local power optimization respecting building occupancy: Zero-power sensors network. Intelligent "human" management of the building by using granular monitoring systems.
