Epic Takes Delivery of 2017 Piper PA-44 Seminole Twin-Engine Trainer at Sun 'n Fun Int'l Fly-In & Expo
N417EP, Epic Flight Academy's newest addition to the fleet, was welcomed at Sun 'n Fun, an annual aviation event hosted in Lakeland, Florida. A brand new 2017 twin-engine aircraft, the trainer has been much anticipated as the demand grows for students in the multi-engine pilot training course. Maintaining the existing technology and safety standards for Epic's training resources, the Piper Seminole has been taking on the skies equipped with the latest and greatest of the aviation industry, including the G-1000 Glass Cockpit, ideal for commercial pilot training.
Panama Branch Hosts Flight School & Pilot Career Seminar
Epic Flight Academy representatives traveled to Panama City, Panama this past month in order to present the opportunities available for airline pilot training for Panamanian students. With over 100 attendees, the turnout included three different school groups, successful Epic Flight Academy graduates sharing their testimonies, parents of existing students, and an abundance of interested students and their families. Epic is currently touring high schools across Panama in conjunction with IFARHU and plans to hold another seminar and information session in Fall 2017. In the mean time, Panamanian students have access to flight training information via the new Epic Panama Branch, a satellite admissions office operated by one of our graduates employed by Copa Airlines.
Epic Virtual Flight Academy 360 Degree Virtual Campus Being Incorporated into Tours, Virtual Discovery Flight, & Ground School Lessons Live Campus Webcams Unveiled
Students have begun utilizing Epic Virtual Flight Academy, a Schoology Learning Management System, within their ground school classes, and Ground School Instructors have been thrilled with the results. With this new supplementary information readily available, students are able to delve deeper into their understanding of concepts at their own pace. In the coming months, we will see the next two phases of Virtual Ground School launched, as well as use of Epic Virtual Flight Academy in oneon-one lessons with students and their individual flight instructors.
Students, friends, and family can now take virtual campus tours and view live campus webcams through our website using any device connected to the internet. Take a look at Epic's fleet, classrooms, simulators, and various other Epic facilities remotely, while listening to the live Air Traffic Control from the New Smyrna Beach Airport. Also available on the Epic website, a virtual discovery flight from inside of one of Epic's Cessna 172's.
