Subject Content • Use of the English language as instrument to reach new artistic knowledge. • Viewing of a video that recreates the life of Picasso and his beginnings in the world of the artistic creation. • Composition of an artistic piece recreating techniques of Pablo Picasso. • Exploration of the characteristics and techniques of some works of Pablo Picasso. 3. Methodology 4 sessións of 60 minutes each Organization and class Session 1 distribution / timing Introduction of the life of Pablo Picasso (Video and web quest) Session 2 The work of Pablo Picasso with special attention to the portraits and self-portraits Vocabulary related to the artistic techniques to use in the accomplishment of the portrait Session 3 Accomplishment of a sketch of a portrait of a figure chosen by the students using some of the techniques used by Picasso. Beginning of the accomplishment of the artistic creation. Session 4 Accomplishment and presentation of their artistic creation. The methodology will be active and participatory. It will try to involve all the students in the class taking into account their educational needs.
