Applicants must have recently graduated with a recognised degree, and we undertake a robust selection process to ensure only the strongest candidates are selected. Key steps in this process are:
Selection, training and management Telephone screening – An initial telephone interview to discuss the candidate’s CV and assess their communication skills.
Final selection is completed by a Hazell Carr Operations Director or Senior Operations Manager.
Aptitude and attitude testing – Candidates who meet initial screening criteria attend a one-day assessment. This includes a numeracy test, letter writing skills, and a one-on-one interview with a senior member of our Operations Team.
All projects are run under the guidance and quality control of senior Hazell Carr managers who act as mentors, advising and supporting the consultants. Should an escalation be required, they will step in immediately.
Initial training – The strongest candidates from the first day are invited back for more detailed training. This typically lasts for another 2 days and can be customised to include additional areas on client request.
