Konrad Zuse His Life •

He worked as a civil engineer, inventor and businessman.

He studied mechanical engineering, then architecture and at last civil enigeering.
•
He had to serve in the Second World War.
•
He died in 1995 in Berlin.
The „Z1“ and „Z3“ •
He first thought of the „Z1“ in 1937.
•
In 1939 he created a concept of the „Z1“.
•
For his computers, he invented a calculation-, storage-, programm-, in- and output-system.
•
In 1941 he built the „Z3“ in his own engineer‘s office.
•
It filled in a whole room, weighed over 1000kg and consisted of 30.000 cables.
•
The original „Z3“ was destroyed in WW2 but there is a replica in the German Technical Museum in Munich.
