You are invited to design high-impact initiatives for Impact Project funding. Eligible projects include hands-on field experiences, prototyping for social enterprise start-ups and participation at relevant conferences.
IMPACT PROJECT
GOALS Launch Projects emphasize action-based learning by empowering you to take an active role in responding to sustainability challenges and driving impact. • Example projects: entrepreneurial ventures, creation of business sustainability tools, workshop development • Example deliverables: case studies, toolboxes, business sustainability resources • Project awards vary. Students are encouraged to be bold and design projects with lasting impact.
How to get started 1. Reflect on your personal and professional goals—how can you use this opportunity to help you meet those goals? 2. Consult with Erb Institute staff. 3. Develop and refine your project scope.
Impact Project funding is only available to Erb Institute students, and it supports: • Self-directed learning—Supplement your dual-degree curriculum by applying your business sustainability knowledge and skills outside the classroom. • Career-focused experiences—Develop customized projects that align directly with your professional goals • Meaningful engagement—Position yourself as a leader within business sustainability thought and action.

Each academic year, as an Erb Institute student, you are eligible for one award for each of the following: • Conference participation: $500 • Training or certification: $1,000
Lead projects fund active learning experiences and offer a gateway for you to apply classroom learning and demonstrate your thought leadership. • Example projects: case competitions, research and project presentations, workshop facilitation • Example deliverables: marketing and communications products
