Dear valued guests of the Oman Medical Association Conference and Oman Health Exhibition. I would like to warmly welcome you all to the Oman Medical Association Conference and Oman Health Exhibition - Muscat 2022. Medicine is a noble career, steeped in high morals and lofty goals. Its heroes are top-notch doctors and loyal cadres of the auxiliary health professions, and their sacrifices are remarkable. This health conference and exhibition is a good step forward, translating Oman Vision 2040. In the Oman Medical Association (OMA), we firmly believe that such medical meetings have the most significant and sustained impact on reinforcing and consolidating the professional relationship among the participants, enhancing the scientific research process as well as sharing experiences in various scientific and health arenas. As a matter of the scientific and professional responsibility of the association, I assure the constant support of the association related forty-five interdisciplinarians, looking forward to further means of cooperation and partnership with all health sectors in the Sultanate of Oman, spearheaded by the Ministry of Health and other public and private health sectors. The conference is of paramount importance, as of its significant role in enriching the participant’s medical knowledge and introducing the scientific and technological developments in this field. We highly appreciate the considerable effort of everyone who contributed to enhancing the health cadre’s professional and scientific knowledge, through constant cooperation with all official and private health sectors as well as academic institutions from inside and outside the Sultanate. Driven by the humanitarian aspect of the medical profession, this conference came to add scientific and qualitative values that help doctors to keep pace with the latest scientific development, in order to restore the luster and prestige of this profession, and to catapult the Sultanate into the ranks of the world’s most developed nations in the field of health services, as well as to provide optimal health care at the local and regional levels. We extend our profound gratitude and great appreciation to the scientific committee that contributed to reviewing all the scientific papers presented,

and selecting the appropriate ones, as we received a number of scientific papers and various medical lectures presented by an elite group of specialists at the local and international levels. The medicine profession and the health field have considerable challenges that require the cooperation and solidarity of all parties to overcome them. The health services and personnel are particularly concerned about how to create an appropriate and developed health environment by means of using modern technologies and devices with a balanced financial budget, commensurate with the countries’ budget. The incomes of countries vary, however the good management of their resources and income as well as development of a qualified and trained health administration that follows a well-designed plan and strategy could empower them to spearhead this field. Recently, health insurance has become an irreversible reality, and one of the solutions that support health services budgets.” The opening ceremony of the 3rd Oman Health Exhibition & Conference, in conjunction with the Oman Health Exhibition & Conference 2022. “Medical errors and their legal consequences are another matter that concerns all health services in the world. Therefore, health institutions and their sponsorships must establish a mechanism to reduce these medical errors and create a safe working environment for the health cadres in these health institutions, as well as doctors and their assistants should follow the clinical practice guidelines.” We hope everyone finds this conference useful to achieve their objectives, and actively participates in the various activities held on the sidelines of the Oman Health Exhibition & conference.
