Monroe will interview two leading figures of the American contemporary studio craft movement, both of whom are at the zenith of their careers. Each is represented by an iconic work in the Renwick Gallery’s permanent collection, Wendell Castle’s Ghost Clock, a stellar example of trompe l’oeil sculpture and Albert Paley’s Portal Gates, a masterpiece of iron work.
