CRUISE SHIP RETAIL DESIGN PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project is a small retail venue aboard NCL Norwegian Sky where patrons can shop, and create their own keepsake jewelry. PROJECT TYPE Individual PROJECT SIZE Approx. 230 sq. meters PROJECT LENGTH 1 Week Workshop PROGRAMS UTILIZED Revit 3ds Max Adobe Photoshop Adobe InDesign
ORIGAMI-INSPIRED DESIGN Much like the facets of a diamond, many origami designs feature tessellations of geometric planes. Inspired by the angular geometric nature of origami, the interior design of the retail space will incorporate repeated triangular forms to define spaces and create visual interest. A more neutral color palette will be used to create an environment featuring understated drama.

superyacht design
graduate design 4 I spring 2017
SUPERYACHT DESIGN PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Ferretti 690 is a 69 foot yacht that traditionally has a flybridge, a main indoor living space, and three cabin rooms. In this project, the 690 was transformed into a creative oasis for Russian fashion designer Kira Plastinina. PROJECT TYPE Individual PROJECT SIZE 69 foot yacht PROJECT LENGTH 5 Weeks PROGRAMS UTILIZED Revit 3ds Max Adobe Photoshop Adobe InDesign
The design of the yacht is inspired by the practice of Russian ballet. Russian ballet performances dramatically tell a story through rhythmic, yet precise and structured dances. Similar to the experience of watching a Russian ballet, the design of the yacht will create a sense of drama through a structured rhythm.
