Warm Spring Beach Days and an Even Hotter Market! We have just wrapped up the first quar-ter with what has proven to be the stron-gest sales quarter we have ever experi-enced in our local coastal home market. Historically, our secondary vacation home market experiences seasonal sales strength in the spring and summer months, with the first quarter often recording the lowest sale trends and the second and third quarter far higher. This year’s first quarter has broken through all historical norms as you will see in reviewing this report. The volume of sales and average sales prices across all of the popular coastal areas and planned communities increased by staggering percentages. With inventory surprisingly scarce, the number of sales is all the more impressive. Buyer demand remains high and newly listed properties are selling swiftly.
