Energy Events Energy Events holds ten running races a year and prides itself on not just being a race but an event. It goes above and beyond peoples expectations of an event.

Problem Vancouver, Wash. doesn't have many events centered in the area that are large and put on.

Solution Energy Events team creates large events where runners can come together in a community and have fun.

Outcome The largest race had 3,000+ people in attendance and events have a steady growth in attendance.

Media Relations Problem

Octonaut was set to perform at the Willamette Valley Music Festival but had no publicity about its performance.

Solution Creating a media kit for multiple news sources to promote the performance with earned media.

Outcome

If the media kit were to be sent to reporters, Octonaut would have earned media and earned more followers of its music.

Dr. Bryan Johnson Campaign Brian C. Johnson Orthodontics is an orthodontics office located in Salem, Ore. with satellite offices in Stayton, Ore. and Silverton, Ore. It is ranked one of the top three orthodontics offices in the Salem area.

Problem Bryan C. Johnson Orthodontics wants to expand the business physically and gain more clients monthly. Therefore it needed more publicity within the community.

Solution Creating a PR campaign and ultimately a better presence on social media to improve its image among the community and beyond.

Social Media ETHOS Magazine is a student ran publication at University of Oregon. I was apart of the PR team for the magazine. We composed five weekly Facebook and Twitter posts to increase readership.

Bryan C. Johnson Orthodontics Being an admin for Bryan C. Johnson Orthodontic's Facebook page allowed me the responsibility to post multiple times a week. We conducted posts including, Monday Tips, Tuesday transformations, who are we Wednesdays, Friday funnies and community activities on the weekends.
