Few things you ought to know about her are she’s an avid animal lover and love to spend her leisure time painting canvases, watching K-dramas and sipping coffee while looking at a beautiful landscape.

How did you become a Fashion Model? While I was pursuing my education at NIFT, I was a very shy girl. I Used to feel insecure about being tall and skinny but my seniors used to scout me all the time for their photography assignments. One fine day, few of my seniors signed me up for the Femina Miss India audition. They convinced me that I would prove my worthiness on a national platform and so I did. After being a participant of a renowned beauty pageant, I started scoring good modelling assignments. That’s how a camera-shy girl who couldn’t even walk in heels entered the world of fashion.

What is your dream to work for? My dream is to work for myself and be my own boss in five years down the lane.

What is a typical day like in your life? On a typical day, when I’m not shooting I wake up around 9 am and prepare my breakfast which is usually fruits with toast and coffee. After I finish cleaning my house, I grab a light lunch and then head out to the gym. My workout usually lasts for an hour. Post that I go around the area to feed the stray dogs and return home. I meet my partners to work

on our business model and after all the goals for the day have been accomplished, I cuddle with my cats while watching K-dramas until I fall asleep. On the day of shoots, I wake up around 4 or 5 am, grab my coffee and head out to the shooting location.

What does it take to be successful in the field you excel in? It takes a lot of physical as well as mental strength to excel in the competitive and ever-changing industry of fashion but one of the most important things which help to survive the cut-throat competition is being self-aware. If you know how you feel and what you want at a particular time in your life, you will be able to prepare yourself mentally and physically for the challenges to come.

What do you do in your free time? I go to nearby cafes and sip hot coffee while chilling with my friends when I want to be out on my day off. When I’m at home, I love being creative and creating something new or just taking a nap with my forever lazy cats.

Tell us a funny incident which happened to you?

Humour follows me; there isn’t a day when I don’t laugh off my brains because I possess the most hilarious friends. It’s not possible for me to pinpoint one funny incident but watch out for me in public, you’ll know the story behind my hysterical laughter.

How Covid has affected the modelling industry and what are the ways one can evolve and deal with the situation? Personally, I did not feel any negative effects on my work in the industry. Since the lockdown has been lifted, I’ve been completely occupied with modelling and acting projects. Fashion shows have come to a standstill due to covid-19 as it involves the gathering of lots of models coming in close contact and working with each other. The only way to deal with the situation is to make sure that when you’re shooting, every member of the crew has been tested for covid a day prior to the shoot, social distancing is being followed, and temperature checks are conducted at the set.

If you are left in a supermarket and asked to pick up only 3 things what would you pick? I would pick up some broccoli, avocado and green tea, then I’ll put it all back at the checkout counter and grab a handful of chips and aerated drinks.
