The Charismatic Meenakshii Chaudhary

Tell us something about yourself how is Meenakshii Chaudhary as a person?

I know this about myself. I’m a fighter. Come what may I’ve always had this attitude of never giving up and fighting till the end. This is something that my parents instilled in me and it has always held me in good stead in my life. Whatever I am today, it’s because of this trait apart from of course hard work and perseverance.

How did your career in acting start? Has acting always been a passion of yours?

Acting started almost as a byproduct of all the choices I made that led me to this path. I honestly believe it to be divine intervention. I never thought I’ll be an actor, I had plans of finishing my dentistry and becoming an IAS officer. But destiny planned otherwise and I’m so glad it happened now I cannot imagine my life any other way. I was always open to exploring whatever exciting and new opportunity came to my way post pageantry and acting happened to be one of them. But once I decided I put my heart and soul into it.

Apart from acting, what other major activities do you usually engage with?

I love sports, playing and watching as well. In fact, in my school days, I competed in state-level swimming and badminton competitions other sports I play are tennis and basketball. I love to read as well and of course travel.

What is the turning point in your career?

I think covid did make a huge revelation in my life as to how I see things now. Priorities with the right balance are something I’ve come to learn and appreciate now in all aspects of my life, be it professional or personal.

What are some projects that you're currently working on?

Two of my films are slated for release in the coming months. My Tamil film Kolai and my Telugu film HIT 2 and I’m very excited about the same. Other than that, I’m soon starting a new film.

What's the recent thing you have striked off of your bucket list?

There are a lot of things on my bucket list and I plan to start striking them off one by one as my life progresses.

Tell us something that you have never told anyone else?
