Nestled within the heart of the bustling street, radiance of the sun and the vibrant energy of the passersby, there existed a serene corner that held my heart: Bowl O' China, my all-time favourite restaurant. Fond memories flood my mind of sitting there with my mother, indulging in our beloved lunch of classic Chicken Fried Rice with Schezwan Chicken, back in the days of PTA meetings during my school years. How I yearn for those moments, to revisit that special place.

In recent years, with the advent of food delivery platforms like Zomato and Swiggy, and the unavoidable impact of the pandemic, the experience of dining out has undergone a transformation. Infrequent are our visits to restaurants now, as the age of social media has shifted the focus towards aesthetics rather than the authenticity of beloved old family food establishments.

However, when we stroll down memory lane, we realise that food possesses a deep connection to our most cherished moments. While various life experiences may contribute to this sentiment over time, it is food that effortlessly transports us back to those treasured childhood memories.
