MOTHER'S DAY SPECIAL

The word mother is synonymous with unconditional love, multitaskers, role model, and more importantly a daughter's best friend. Relationships between a mother and daughter have evolved with the passing of time. There is the conventional stern demeanour that exists, but acceptance and understanding are increasing by a threshold with every up-and-coming generation. Personally, I have grown up in an environment that allows me to share not only the memories that make me happy but the anxieties that I come across, with my mother without a sense of judgement. An open dialogue is the need of the hour to make a relationship stronger in this generation. There are obviously limitations that come across and my mom always tells me that ‘when you become a mother you will understand’ I am sure that every girl has heard this line at least once in their life! So this one’s to all the mothers out there, may the bond with your children grow even stronger and don’t forget to pamper yourself because self-care is as important as caring for your family.
