A famous gloomy post-apocalyptic thriller called The Rain is like a cross between Dark and The Walking Dead. But don't be fooled by its lengthy first episode of exposition. The show does a great job of balancing the emotional stakes with the need to explain this new world's facts.

“ I really love watching thrillers and Science fiction. One such series I came across was ' The Rain ' on Netflix. It's about how a sister takes care of her brother while trying to survive an Apocalypse. They are on a mission to find their father after spending six years in an underground bunker. Their journey and their trust in each other is something to look at as they face ghastly challenges. How the world is going to change the future, we hardly know. But such fantasy Sci-fi never fail to impress me and leaves me with the thought that how there are unlimited possibilities for our future. Makes me wonder that humans are creatures who can destroy the world and can save it too.”
