Halloween is one of our favourite times of the year as we can really choose to be who we want for one night. You can go clever, creepy, cute, or glittery and pull everything off with the right makeup. Or you could create an entire Halloween look just with your make-up. We have a few makeup artists from the city giving all the Halloween vibes with their make-up while having a little fun and going a little wild.

Prarthna Jain

(Instagram: @prarthnajainmakeup) “I was inspired by the character ‘Phoenix’ from the movie X-Men, for the 2021 Halloween Looks. I created this version by covering the brows and matching the red lip with my eye makeup, looks so stunning against the blue palette. I’m obsessed with the makeup that allows my creativity to run wild and is up for my interpretation.”

Harshita

(Instagram: @harshita.88) “This I believe is one of the most beautiful makeup looks I’ve created on myself. I’ve depicted myself as a human doll that has been dismantled or broken. The eyeballs falling off the eyes, and a slit throat that has been stitched using ropes. My favourite element from the look is the broken jaw which has been stapled and put together, I believe it gives the entire look life and makes it look creepier.”

Sana Mulla

(Instagram: @blenditlikesana) “The #BrokenDoll challenge swept over Instagram soon after and has created a lot of buzzes. To be a part of this challenge one has to use makeup, accessories and clothes to mimic the appearance of a young doll and an old black and white doll. A glamorous, starry makeup with some stardust pieces on the cheeks and glossy lips on the other side used prosthetic work, created texture on the skin to look aged. Depicts more of one’s feelings, which are concealed by the appearance and what they’ve gone through.”

Ronan Mili

(Instagram: @ronan_mili) “This centaur inspired look which is a combination of an ox and a man was something I created to not come off as something too scary or nor too predictable. The look was created with the help of tissue paper mixed with glue to create the high cheekbone effect and the horns constituted of bangles and bandages.”

Shuchi

(Instagram: @makeupandhairbyshuchi) “ ‘Hey guilt, melt me away.’ This gorgeous woman is unable to suppress her guilt which is melting her away. Through this makeup, I have tried to depict the emotions keeping her beauty intact hence, making it a perfect glam Halloween look.”
