FIGURE
A study of Jeff Wall ‘s Mimic photograph taken in 1981 is one of his special series on social tension. The Asian figure seems aloof by the situation almost in a state of passivity and tranquility, perhaps stoic in thinking . My 3D Asian figure ( working class) is shown as untucked, after a busy day of work. In retrospect the other figure in the orange t-shirt would see the causality even careless attitude of the working class, OB J E C Tpassing by.

Revolving chairs, also known as stools or swivel chairs, were produced by Shakers in many styles which can be rotated 360 degree and elevated . This swivel chair was transformed/ bespoked by taking its natural attribute and exaggerating its height. Further more I used this as an opportunity to use the object(chair) as a means to alter the mood of the individual by empowering the sitter . OBJECT

ROOM
Known today as the Richard H Driehaus Museum. Here I bespoke the room by stamping my figure’s image in every portraiture whether painting or sculpture and to subtlety misalign the 3 horizontal datums of maple wood, Japanese tile and wall paper in all four elevations causing an elongating effect. In doing so I intent that the architecture will pressure the figure now owner of the home to empose power. and to give the visitor( the gentleman of business) a surreal effect and awkwardness that the space.

HOUSE
The interior rooms offset vertically and in plan, my bespoking was driven by the Pinwheel Enfilade in where my room from the previous lesson helped unify a continuous pinwheel movement when placed in one of the spaces. In addition my bespoking extended to the brick detailing, each room has a different orientation, texture and color both inside and outside as to reinforce the differentiation of each different space/ function that can be scanned through openings or experienced by the mover, a unified yet distinct space

LANDSCAPE
In the essay comic lines by Robin Evans, states that “Ronchamp exterior walls were construed by receptors of the “four horizons” on top the hill. In a similar manner I bespoked each roof to respond to its context, landscape, solar orientation in relation to each room’s function and needs. Lighting was closely studied with solar studies. The intention is that these ceiling height and lighting effects will inspire the dweller ‘s spirit and creativity breaking away from the low melancholy ceiling heights.

WORLD
The room I choose to couple with this painting was the studio space in where the architecture, volume and lighting pressure my figure to become the artist of the room, Here the artist paints the mountain peaks of Huascaran in Peru but not the one’s through the window infront but rather through the enfilade, the adjacent room as shown in painting canvas in where the peaks are reversed and the tallest peak is crooked.

Project Description
The Double or, The Unlayering / stratification of the character Doppelgänger; Was a concept driven from the noval by Fyodor Dostoevsky a battle of good and evil: the inner Conscious and the Subconscious a superficial quest for identity simply put. and this notion of the double is eventually multiplies to the many starting with the single room toward a community of many dwellers . My Approach to this design is not to look at the room as purely a bedroom but a sequence of spaces. A space of meditation, contemplation and discovery: an unlayering of one’s self in search of truth and meaning . A journey of unlayering to understand who we are, what we have become, or who we have failed to become.
Part 1 & 2- One Room/ Three Room Professor: Francesco Marullo
Spring 2018
Project Description
Previously the stratification, discovery, and habit happened horizontally from space to space with light partition walls as dividers of space. This has transitioned and rotated the experience of stratification ninety degrees; a vertical journey rather than a horizontal one. The original nine square structure guides the whole composition, placing four-step ziggurats at the four corners of the plinth, facing inward with its back to the exterior with a solid uninviting fortress wall. These stepped tiers are intended to function as spaces of activity, learning, and working for cloister monks where each tier contains amenities for simple living, study, storing, and gathering.
Part 3- Nine Room Professor: Francesco Marullo
Spring 2018
Project Description
The project consists of multiliving housing units that accommodates single, couple and family spaces. Furthermore the project is broken into three large vertical bays with five floors and courtyards allowing natural light to enter the spaces and provide views to the rooms below and horizontally. Each unit has a mezzanine with double height ceilings. In section, the spaces are interwoven from floor to floor and wrapped around a center core. This concept of constantly circulating a stair along a wall, that was an element extracted from Hejduk’s seventh and last house.
Part 4- Twenty Seven Room Professor: Francesco Marullo
Spring 2018
Project Description
Unlike the previous exercise, the increased number of inhabitants and spaces are contained within an elevated platform; like a mini city or village rather than a box. The void of the second lesson, the collective space now becomes many, changing scales, starting with the open space in the ground floor to the shared space in the center, this ripple effect also makes its way to the units below at the ends and in between apartments in the rooftop. To access the building one must enter though one of the eight legs that will direct the individual to the first floor lobby to the classrooms. The following space is the collective learning center with three large voids that houses workshops and the adjacent rooms are to be used as seminars and social gathering

The Double or, The Unlayering Esau Hernandez The Doppelgänger; a battle of good and evil: the inner Conscious and the Subconscious a superficial quest for identity, acceptance and truth. A restless soul combating his desires, inclinations, and punished by self-mortification led by imprudence and recklessness. Golyadkin is himself the enemy and healer. And I believe the novel is an interpretation of the human soul and its imperfect condition 13 with the aim to reveal some truth that is slowly being peeled away with time. There also seems to be an implicit theological implication of values, virtues and self-discovery; a close
